Correlation Between Surface, Thermal, Mechanical and Morphological Properties of Polylactic Acid/Polypropylene and Polylactic Acid/Polyamide 6 Blends

In the automotive sector, which is one of sectors where polymers are mostly used, their behaviour and compatibility in secondary processes such as painting coating applications important preference according to usage areas well mechanical thermal properties. this context, it known that surface wettability a polymer material great importance for different application can be stated wetting non-wetting behaviours play an role selection industrial applications. study, contact angle properties polypropylene (PP) polyamide 6 (PA6), most used sector blends prepared by using polylactic acid (PLA) were examined. When PLA/PP PLA/PA6 mixtures compared, was observed there significant differences measurements these detected water attributed changes chemical structures, functional groups morphology related polymers. Surface analysis supported thermal, morphological static measurement results explained.
